Dani Gelardi and Geoffrey Koch both graduate students in the Soils and Biogeochemistry Graduate Group have been selected as recipients of the 2021 American Society of Agronomy, Crop Science Society of America, Soil Science Society of America Future Leaders in Science Award! They were selected from a pool of dozens of exceptional students for this highly competitive award!

Award recipients are invited to participate in the 2021 Virtual Congressional Visits Day. They will receive policy, advocacy and communication training and will be grouped with other advocates from states to meet with their respective Congressional delegation.
